In November of every year the Big Rock Runners organize a Cross Country run at the Strathcona Tweedsmuir school, located just north-west of Okotoks. This cross-country is part of the Calgary Road Runners winter series of 10 races, scheduled from October to March. See our Calendar for more information.

Each year the participants take on the blowing snow and freezing temperatures to partake in a fun event which tests even the most fanatic runners and physically strong racers. Runners have a choice of either a 4km or 8km route through beautiful rural pathways, trees and pastures. The course will take you around the school, once for the 4k and twice for the 8k. Depending on your age and gender you will be signed up for a specific category.

Check back soon for a list of all categories and costs associated with this great event.
